Join us for a group information session or a guided tour to experience what makes Frost such a vibrant place to learn and perform.
Our group information sessions, led by the Director of Admission or the Assistant Director of Admissions, are designed for prospective students and their families to explore their academic and artistic goals. Ask questions about your intended major, your preferred instrument or voice studio, and student life at Frost. You’ll also get a clear overview of our application deadlines and audition dates.
Take a guided tour of our state-of-the-art facilities with one of our Admission Staff members or a Frost Student Ambassador. You’ll step inside our world-class concert halls, cutting-edge recording studios, classrooms, music library, and faculty studios.

Please use the calendar on the right to see our current availability and register by selecting the event below. Due to limited space, registration is required for visiting students and a maximum of two guests which can be indicated under the “number of guests” section on the registration form.

Meet Your Hosts

Dominic Castillejo
Director, Admissions
Dominic has been the Director of Admission for the Frost School of Music since 2024 and has worked at the University of Miami since 2012. Dominic is an alumnus of the Frost School of Music where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Performance in 2011 and studied classical saxophone with Dale Underwood.
Kyle Elgarten
Assistant Director, Admissions
Kyle Elgarten serves as Assistant Director of Admissions for the Frost School of Music, a position he has held since 2024. Kyle is a double Cane, earning a Bachelor’s degree in classical trumpet with Craig Morris and a Master’s degree in Orchestral Conducting with Gerard Schwarz. Outside of his work at Frost, Kyle maintains a multi-faceted musical career as a conductor, contractor, and arranger.

Join the Office of Undergraduate Admission for one of our Daily Campus Visits. Enjoy an information session delivered by an admission counselor or current student who will review the application process, financial aid, student life, and the myriad of opportunities that come with studying in Miami. After the presentation, you'll go on a student-led guided tour of our Coral Gables campus.
