Pre-College Summer Application


     



    Application Requirements

    The three-week Summer Scholars Program and two-week UM Academies are for high school students who are active in their communities, leaders in their schools, and examples of integrity. Individuals should be mature, self-motivated, and prepared to study an academic discipline in a rigorous scholarly program.

    Eligibility

    Students must meet:

    1. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 (Based on a 4.0 Scale)

    2. Grade level:

         Three-week Summer Scholars Program:

    • Completed sophomore or junior year of high school   

         Two-week UM Academies:

    • Completed freshman, sophomore, or junior year of high school

    Application Deadlines

    The Pre-College Admission Committee conducts a holistic review of each application, taking into account all its components. Once we have received all of the supporting documents, we will review your application.

    All application materials must be submitted by your preferred application deadline for consideration. If application materials are not submitted by your preferred application deadline, your application will be rolled over into the next application review.

    Note: Access to the Pre-College Status Portal will be available 48-72 hours after you submit the Pre-College Application. Please plan accordingly to ensure both your application and supporting documents are submitted by your preferred application deadline.

    • Early Action Deadline: December 31
    • Scholarship Deadline: March 1
    • General Application Deadline: March 1
    • Post Application Deadline: Applications are reviewed after April 1 on a rolling basis for open academic tracks
