Bachelor of General Studies Application 2023

Admissions Criteria

1. Graduated from high school at least four (4) years ago and at least 22 years old
2. Cumulative GPA of 2.2 on all previous college work
3. U.S. citizen or permanent resident

4. Not enrolled in another school or college at the University of Miami
5. Student must be pursuing first undergraduate degree
6. Submit a current resume or curriculum vitae via application system

Students admitted and enrolled in the Bachelor of General Studies may not transfer into any other undergraduate University of Miami school or college. The BGS program is intended for students who are pursuing their first undergraduate degree.

Please Note: Any applicants that have a denied, waitlisted, or pending application with another degree program at the University of Miami should confirm their eligibility for the Bachelor of General Studies before they apply.
