Counselor Nomination Form - Jenkins Scholar

The George W. Jenkins Scholarship is a premier scholarship available to admitted students at the University of Miami. This scholarship is awarded to high school seniors with strong academic credentials, significant financial need, and a history of overcoming adversity. Residency Requirement: Open only to US Citizens or Permanent Residents who are residents of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Virginia, graduating from an accredited high school within their home state.

Deadline Requirement: Eligible students are required to apply under either the Early Decision I or Early Action admission plan by the November 1 deadline and submit the FAFSA, CSS Profile, and any additional financial aid documents by the corresponding deadline.

Personal Statement: Nominated students must submit a personal statement in the Applicant Portal by December 1 in order to be considered.
